By default, AVK checks all unread mail in the inbox (and its subfolders) when starting Outlook. If there is a large amount of mail, start up becomes considerably delayed. You can disable this option using the AVK Administrator (Email task section, Check Unread Mails at Program Start option). Caution: If you disable this option, not all incoming mail will be automatically checked for viruses.
